Bulk Fueling

Bulk diesel delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth starts with the ZIP

Dallas-Fort Worth is a freight hub that keeps growing outward. A good diesel order names the site ZIP, the product, the gallons, and the hours the gate is open.

Search the site, not the office

The metro runs from Denton and McKinney down to Midlothian, and from Weatherford across to Forney. A distributor that runs Fort Worth every day may only reach a far east-side site on set days.

Search the ZIP where the tank or the equipment sits. The Texas page lists a distributor based in Midlothian, on the south side of the metro, plus companies that serve the state from farther away.

Distance is only one input. The service radius, the fuels listed, and the minimum gallons on each profile tell you more about whether a company fits the job than the miles on the map.

Warehouse yards and freight terminals

DFW has a lot of distribution centers and truck terminals. Yard trucks, reefer units, and road tractors may all pull from one tank. Say which equipment gets fuel and how many gallons a week the yard burns.

Busy yards often have a receiving window and a guard shack. Put the gate, the site contact, and the hours in the quote notes so the driver knows where to go and when the tank can take a drop.

Name the product and the drop size

Road trucks take clear ULSD. Dyed diesel is for off-road use only, in equipment and uses that qualify. If a jobsite runs both, list each product with its own gallons and confirm the distributor sells both.

A tank wagon fits smaller tanks and wet-hose passes on a jobsite. A transport load fits a large tank that can take a full drop. Check the tank wagon and transport badges on a profile first.

Plan for a hard freeze

North Texas does not freeze often, so it is easy to skip winter planning. When a hard freeze does come, roads slow down and every site wants fuel the same week. Top off ahead of the forecast.

Ask your distributor what blend or additive they deliver in cold months, and check generator and yard tanks for water before winter. Water in a tank is what freezes first and plugs a filter.

Questions

Do DFW distributors deliver dyed diesel to jobsites?

Many list it, but not all. Filter the search for dyed diesel to see only companies that sell it. Dyed diesel is for off-road use only, not for trucks on the road.

How fast can a distributor deliver in Dallas-Fort Worth?

It depends on the company, the drop size, and the day. Bulk Fueling does not promise delivery times. Ask in the quote request and say how many gallons are left in the tank.

Can I get diesel and DEF on the same drop?

Some distributors carry both. Check for the DEF badge on the profile and list DEF as its own line in the request. DEF is not a fuel, so it goes in its own tank or tote.
