This notice covers bulkfueling.com. It covers buyers who request a quote, people who write a review, companies that claim or edit a listing, and anyone with an account.

A quote includes your name, email, phone, an optional company name, the delivery ZIP, fuel, gallons, the date you need it, whether the job is heavy haul, and any notes you add.

A review includes your name, email, phone, a rating, the review, whether you recommend the company, and an optional name of a person you recommend. The public profile shows your name, rating, and review. It does not show your email or phone.

A claim includes your name, work email, phone, and your role at the company. An account stores the email, a password hash, and the role: customer, company, or admin. A customer account also stores the name and phone from a review. Publishing a review with a new email opens that customer account. The password is random until you reset it from the sign-in page.

The server also records the page you were on, a coarse time, and the IP address used to slow down repeated form posts and sign-in attempts.

We email the quote to that distributor, with your email as the reply-to, and store the lead in their account. We use a claim to decide whether that person may take over the listing. We use an account to sign you in and to send password resets and listing invites.

We do not sell personal information. We do not send one quote to the rest of the list.

The distributor you contacted receives the quote. The site is served through Cloudflare and hosted on Hostinger, where the directory database lives. Account and quote email goes out through Resend. Those providers process the information so the site can run.

Signing in sets a cookie named ff_session. It holds a signed session, lasts 14 days, and is limited to this site. It is not used for advertising. The public pages do not set an analytics cookie. You can sign out, which clears it.

Leads, reviews, claims, and accounts stay until the listing is removed or you ask us to delete what we can delete without breaking a record the distributor still needs to answer. Server logs used for abuse limits are short-lived.
